Share Your Taru Story
Show Our Artisans Where Their Work Has Traveled
Every Taru Studios piece begins in a village workshop in Rajasthan and journeys across the world to become part of your home. When you share a photograph of your piece in its new setting, you complete a circle of connection that spans continents and cultures.
Why Your Photos Matter
For our artisan partners, seeing their work in your home is profoundly meaningful. It affirms that their craft—practiced for generations in their families—has value and beauty that resonates globally.
"We would always love it if the client shares the pictures of the pieces placed in their home or office," one artisan told us. These images remind them why they continue this work despite economic pressures and declining apprenticeship rates.
Your photograph becomes:
Validation: Proof that traditional craft has a place in modern, thoughtfully designed spaces
Inspiration: Young artisans see where their future work might travel, encouraging them to continue learning
Connection: A tangible link between maker and owner across thousands of miles
Community: Part of a global collective of people who value handcraft, heritage, and human artistry

This gallery serves multiple purposes:
For artisans: Visual proof of their craft's global reach and impact
For prospective customers: Real-world styling inspiration showing how Taru pieces integrate into diverse interior aesthetics
For all of us: A celebration of the human connections formed through craft—maker, owner, and everyone who encounters these pieces
What Happens When You Share
When we receive your photo:
1. We send it to our artisan partners in Jaipur, who gather to see where their work has journeyed
2. We add it to our Customer Gallery (with your approval) so others can draw inspiration
3. We may feature it on our social channels, always crediting you or keeping you anonymous per your preference
4. You become part of the Taru Studios community—a global network of people preserving traditional craft through mindful purchasing
Photography Tips (Optional)
Your photos don't need to be professionally styled. Authentic, natural images often resonate most. That said, if you'd like guidance:
• Natural light works beautifully with bone inlay and mother-of-pearl (the materials catch light gorgeously)
• Show the piece in context—on your entryway table, holding jewelry, displaying family photos, etc.
• Detail shots highlighting the intricate inlay work are welcome alongside wider room views
• Most importantly: capture what makes you smile when you see this piece in your home
Join the Community
Every photograph you share strengthens the invisible threads connecting you, the artisans in Rajasthan, and everyone else who values handcrafted beauty. It's a simple act with profound ripples—showing makers that their work matters, inspiring others to choose craft over mass production, and creating a visual archive of traditional techniques living on in modern homes across the world.
We can't wait to see your Taru piece in its new home.
