Returns & Refunds
Our 15-Day Promise
We want you to absolutely love your Taru piece. If you're not completely satisfied, you may return in-stock items within 15 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.
Conditions
• Item must be in original condition (unused, undamaged)
• Original packaging preferred
• Custom or commissioned pieces are final sale unless defective
How to Initiate a Return
Email us at hello@tarustudios.com within 15 days of delivery with:
• Order number
• Item name
• Reason for return (helps us improve)
• Photos if item arrived damaged or defective
We'll provide return shipping instructions and address.
Refund Process
• Refunds issued within 5-7 business days of receiving returned item
• Original shipping costs are non-refundable (except for defective items)
• Return shipping costs are customer's responsibility (except for defective items)
Damaged or Defective Items
If your piece arrives damaged or with defects:
• Contact us immediately (within 7 days of delivery)
• Provide photos showing the issue
• We'll arrange return shipping at our expense
• Choose replacement or full refund (including original shipping)

Custom Orders
Custom and commissioned pieces are final sale due to the bespoke nature and artisan time invested. However, if a custom piece arrives significantly different from agreed specifications or is defective, contact us immediately—we'll make it right.
Quality Concerns
Every piece undergoes rigorous quality inspection before shipping. If you notice an issue we missed, please reach out within 7 days. We take quality seriously and will work with you toward a fair resolution.
Handmade Variations
Remember that slight natural variations in bone color, minor organic marks, or subtle pattern differences are inherent to handcrafted pieces. These are not defects—they're proof of authenticity.
